Bio
Molly Horses is a four-piece noise-punk band formed in 2023 in Los Angeles, CA. Combining elements of Post-Punk, Krautrock, and Albini-esque noise, members Harry James and Cormac Brown (members of Portland, Maine’s FonFon Ru) Tim Wright (founding member of Baltimore’s Wilderness) and Malcolm Watts utilize their production and engineering backgrounds to self-produce material with an emphasis on a DIY mindset. Molly Horses released their first single “Beatty” in December of 2023, followed by their second single “King Dundalk” in February of 2024; both recorded at their home studio Train Song. They are currently hard at work on their debut full-length album.

“If you like to live dangerously, crank up the volume. Fans of the bands Shame and Protomartyr will be pleased with James’ diatribe on small-town malaise.”

“[Molly Horses]...have given us a taste of the noisy goodness to come on King Dundalk. The band says the song is about ‘letting your ego ruin you,’ but if you make music as good as this, you can allow yourself some slack.”
